The Breakdown
Nora is arguably the most famous polar bear in America. She was hand-raised at Columbus after her mother abandoned her, became a viral cub, and has a Wikipedia entry and a small children's book industry attached to her name. Madison got her in the fall of 2025.
Weeks later they also got Siku, 15, a Chicago fan favorite since 2016. Lincoln Park framed the departure as See You Later rather than goodbye and kept Talini behind for specialized geriatric care. Keepers in Madison reported the two new arrivals splashing and playing together almost immediately.
